Aether are a multi-disciplinary artist collective who re-imagine spaces through sensory play and multi-media performance. Each artist brings a unique way of interpretating patterns, rhythms, and shapes within nature in a collective exploration of the synergy between art, nature, science, and technology. We take an improvised, experimental approach creating abstract interactions, connecting with each other and the unifying forces of nature. A hybrid of analogue and digital media forms the basis for audio and visual elements which draw out the contrasts between nature and technology, macro and micro, sound and image. Echoing metamorphosis in the environment, their performances transform and evolve unpredictably over time.
